Parish Activities

Both parishes are served by their own Kirk Sessions and Congregational Boards, and each has its own newsletter. Additional activities making up the lives of the two parishes include the following:

CFK Guild

The Guild meets on the first Tuesday of each month, October - April at 7.15 pm in Luthrie Hall.  The Guild plays an active part in church life. Fellowship lunches and strawberry teas feature among other activities. Members from Monimail are welcomed by the CFK Guild.

Afternoon Club

The Club meets on the first Monday of each month in Luthrie Village Hall from 2.30-3.30 pm. Everyone is most welcome. Come along and enjoy the entertainment and delicious afternoon teas!

Music on summer evenings

In recent years, a series of highly successful summer evening concerts have been held in Monimail Church, supporting both churches and other chosen causes.

Joint drama group

The group is formed on an occasional basis, normally presenting a play once each year. As well as providing an additional element to all-age worship in the two congregations, the group is also the source of a lot of fun - for all concerned! The most recent production of the group was Cinderellie, staged in Rathillet, Letham and Newburgh, and attracting full houses at each performance. In addition, drama periodically forms part of Sunday worship.
